One of the things I love about traveling is when I happen upon a good coffee shop or corner cafe. I know I've found a good one when I push open the door, breathe in the smell of wonderfully rich and inviting aromas, and I see people talking and laughing. As I get my coffee, I overhear bits and pieces of interesting conversations and I watch people relating; it gives me an immediate connection with that place and its people. As a writer, as a performer, and as a woman, these encounters delight and inspire me.
