About Nicole
Nicole Johnson’s “Fresh Brewed Life” message gives women “Hope for the Daily Grind”. Over three million women across America have seen Nicole’s live portrayals of the challenges facing today’s mega-multi-tasking woman.
Through letters and e-mails, women have responded to Nicole’s “motivational entertainment” with gratitude for the intimate, accurate understanding her performances, DVDs, and books convey. From "Tammie Jean," who dishes out southern-fried wisdom, to "Kathy," who suddenly finds herself in the ring with the heavy weight champion of the world, Cancer, Nicole’s original characters come to life in sketches full of comedy and poignancy that encourage and inspire women everywhere.
And where does Nicole’s wisdom come from?
Like many women across America and around the world, she has faced spirit-crushing challenges in her life: the divorce of her parents, childhood loneliness, and a difficult marriage that ended in a painful divorce. In the midst of these trials, Nicole gathered together the pieces oif her pain and formulated a life-changing philosophy: Life’s greatest value can be found in these broken pieces in that, like the grinding of coffee beans, only when the individual pieces are crushed can they come together to create something far more wonderful and potent than any of the pieces could alone.
Fueled by her passion to communicate, Nicole creatively uses her many gifts to express her “Fresh Brewed Life” philosophy. She performs original shows in front of a half-million women every year as part of the nation’s largest women’s conference. In addition, Nicole is a successful author, currently writing her seventh book.
Her best-selling debut, Fresh Brewed Life, is one of Nicole’s many popular works that convey her unique understanding of the trials of women. Her latest release, The Invisible Woman (W Publishing, 2005), continues to provide encouragement to hard-working women who feel unseen in their everyday lives.
When not on tour, Nicole makes her home in Santa Monica, California with her husband and brand new puppy. She enjoys writing at a local coffee shop, dining with friends, and walking on the beach.
“We live in a world of great beauty and enormous pain. I like to write about the strange way they come together on the shores of hope.”
